The best time to visit
The Grand Pacific Drive in New South Wales is stunning year-round, but the best time to experience it largely depends on what you're after.
Spring (September - November) boasts mild weather, fewer crowds, and lush coastal cliffs blooming with flowers.
The summer brings warmer temperatures making it great for beach activities.
The autumn season (March-May) is mild weather and the roads are less crowded than in summer, with the crisp air and golden-toned scenery making it especially picturesque.
The winter season(June - August) is quiet with cooler temperatures and dramatic coastal views. It can get chilly, but if you don’t mind the cooler air, you can have some of the most serene experiences along the coast, especially with the possibility of spotting migrating whales.
